About Me
Hey! I’m Ella Townsend—a Fashion Merchandising major at the University of Georgia with a passion for merging creativity and strategy in the fashion industry. Over the past few years, I’ve refined my skills through dynamic leadership roles, hands-on experience in retail operations, and a strong background in styling, buying, and marketing. My deep understanding of consumer trends allows me to create compelling, customer-focused fashion experiences that drive engagement and innovation.
At UGA, I’ve embraced opportunities to lead and grow, serving as the Vice President of Marketing for my sorority and as the Merchandising Manager for Couture a la Cart, UGA’s Retail Entrepreneurship initiative. Whether leading marketing campaigns that increased engagement by over 30% or overseeing product selection and branding for a student-run retail business, I’ve developed invaluable skills in leadership, strategic thinking, and collaboration.
As Assistant Store Manager at Cheeky Peach Boutique, I’ve had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of retail operations. From inventory management and visual merchandising to leading a team and providing top-tier customer service, this role has allowed me to develop a deeper understanding of the retail landscape while strengthening my leadership and communication skills. As I look ahead, I’m excited to continue building on these experiences and applying my expertise to future opportunities in the fashion industry!
